- Wes Waugh
- Wes is a North Carolina artist, workshop instructor and product consultant for Cheap Joe's Art Stuff. His influences stem from the translational and design focused watercolor landscapes of the late Eliot O’Hara and Edgar Whitney, both prominent mid-20th century American watercolor masters. Wes has studied with contemporary watercolorists William B. Lawrence and Cheng Khee-Chee, both students of Edgar Whitney.

Check! One step closer!
Hey Wes, just joining you. It took about 2 weeks of being back to get on top of the pile, but here I am. I'll be keeping up with you now, and I will hold your post quality to the highest of blog standards! Getting the visas is a great step, because you no longer have to worry wether the mail system has lost your passports. And, since you did it early, you can start fretting about that one couple in your travel group that didn't bother to send their's in right away, and might wind up holding up your consulate appointment! There is always one.
So, I heart Ryan Adams too, and when I said "scraping the bottom of the barrel" I kind of meant that I couldn't find a way to use Hotel California in the title, liked the idea of using Kiss's "Room Service" (but thought better of it), and felt like I was left with something obscure. If I had been thinking, I might have gone with the other Adams song with Hotel in it, Tina Toledo's Streetwalkin' blues ("rocks herself to sleep with the rhythm of the rain, beating like a bed up against the window pane of a hotel Rhooooom" (or however he says it).
